Jamie Jackson was crowned Miss Prairie View A&M University 2007-08 during the university's 38th annual scholarship pageant on April 25. Jackson is a junior communications major from Houston and a 2004 graduate of Forest Brook High School. Jackson has been a member of the PVAMU Debate Team and is currently in Sigma Tau Theta Fraternity, Inc., the Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society and has been named in Who's Who Among American College Students. After graduation she plans to host her own talk show. She is the daughter of Jacqueline Jackson and James Jackson. Lindsey Slay served as the Miss Prairie View A&M University 2006-2007.
