Anika attended Florida A&M University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre. She also co-starred with Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce Knowles, as Lorrell Robinson in the Broadway musical, Dreamgirls, which came to theatres in December 2006.
She is so pretty. I loved her role in the movie. Especially the "Lorrell loves Jimmy" song.

Now if only the "mainstream" media would have mentioned/would mention Ms. Rose as being part of the Golden Globe winning movie, "Dream Girls," on some scale remotely similar to the actress's part which "helped" contribute to the success of the movie.
I suppose, to some, that she just simply didn’t/doesn’t have the “star power” that her co-stars have.
She still should have been part of the promotional/marketing bonanza that many of us were bombarded with, along with Hudson and Knowles.
Oh well, if it’s not stopping her check from being deposited …
