I saved 13 tadpoles from a puddle in my backyard that was DRYING UP faster than the tadpoles would be able to TRANSFORM into FROGS.
These are Gray Tree Frogs - they are masters of disguise, as they can change color to blend into their environment. They survive the brutal cold of winter by literally freezing themselves. Then, they THAW in the Spring.
