Former Warriors teammates Festus Ezeli & Klay Thompson take trip to Cameroon (367 hits)

Klay Thompson may not be on the Dubs anymore, but it doesn’t mean he’s done traveling with the Warriors family.

Klay Thompson may not be a member of the Golden State Warriors anymore, as strange as that is to think about, but the Dallas Mavericks guard remains close with many members of the Dubs family. In fact, Thompson was recently in Cameroon with former Warriors center (turned Warriors broadcaster) Festus Ezeli supporting some youth basketball camps and a U20 tournament. Ezeli shared several clips on his personal Instagram stories (credit to @ceeayech for archiving them and reposting on Twitter).

Ezeli was born and raised in Nigeria and has consistently tried to support initiatives aimed at expanding basketball throughout Africa. Ezeli is the Executive Director for VisionC, a nonprofit hoping to empower youth through basketball. Ezeli tagged VisionC in some of his stories, suggesting that he brought Thompson with him to help out with the program.
