We made it to the TANK Shark Tank ABC! 🦈
The stats are wild! Between 35k and 45K companies apply to Shark Tank EVERY YEAR, but only around 120 make it to the stage. Couple that with the fact that only 3% of hardware startups successfully launch tech products to market. Compound that with the statistically insignificant likelihood of raising given my demographics and vertical (IYKYK!), and you get an amazing story and some made-for-TV DRAMA!
These sharks BITE, folks, but I bite back 😉 . Does Mr. Wonderful Kevin O'Leary try to get a royalty deal and get these hands instead? Do Mark Cuban and I have a Celtics vs. Mavs showdown on the Shark Tank stage?? Do I get a coveted 5-shark deal??? One way or another, it's going to be a great show featuring another AMAZING Black woman in hardware and techstars alum, Veon Brewster.
