I am a loving father and husband, a driven entrepreneur, the owner of District 41 Sports Bar and Elite Trucks, an author, and a passionate philanthropist. Through the AB41 Brand, I have built a thoughtful portfolio with ownership in companies at various stages. I aim to grow my business relationships to support industries that I believe in. The areas I am currently focused on include but are not limited to, real estate, consumer goods + services, HBCU-owned businesses, and technology.
Since 2010, my wife Samantha and I have been deeply involved in our community, through our work with the Bethea Family Foundation. Through our outreach efforts, we have hosted Christmas Shopping Sprees, Coat Drives, and College Tours. Our mission is to engage with community organizations and schools to provide resources that will allow students to experience academic success.
In 2021 I released the deluxe edition of my 2018 autobiography, “Bet on Yourself” Inside The Mind of The Ultimate Underdog”. This is not only the inside story of how I bucked the odds to succeed in the NFL, but it’s also a case study on how to fight back when people underestimate you.
I also co-host the Man to Man Podcast with my former teammate, Darius J. Butler. Together we provide analysis and commentary on everything from the field to the locker room. You can find us on Instagram, YouTube, and wherever you stream your favorite podcasts.
