Morehouse Grad Introduces HBCU Superheroes in New Animated Trailer - Check it Out!!! (8544 hits)
In a groundbreaking narrative that embraces the heritage of all 107 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), a visionary team of Morehouse College alumni has given birth to "HBCU Superheroes."
This creative and empowering tale is the collaborative creation of Raynal "Shaka" Harris, Adsia Iwa, Maurice "Raheem" Mander, and Ronald Sullivan. Set against the backdrop of the newly founded HBCUniversity, a fictional institution teeming with knowledge and athleticism, the story introduces us to the enigmatic Isaiah Kemet, a beloved professor harboring a remarkable secret—his mission to safeguard the world against rogue magic and an imminent alien threat.
Unbeknownst to Kemet, the epicenter of this interstellar clash will become HBCUniversity itself, forcing an unprecedented alliance between traditional HBCU heroes and a contingent of supervillains. In this world, rules are meant to be broken.
A Tale of Unity in Diversity
One of the defining features of "HBCU Superheroes" is the blending of tradition and transformation. Heroes and anti-heroes, once pledged enemies, must join forces to confront an existential threat to humanity. In this compelling narrative, the traditional boundaries of heroism and villainy blur, leaving room for redemption, alliances of necessity, and the power of redemption.
As the HBCU heroes and their unlikely allies prepare to face off against ruthless alien invaders, "HBCU Superheroes" serves as an allegory for the strength that emerges when diverse backgrounds and talents unite for a common cause. Just as HBCUs have historically empowered individuals from all walks of life, the heroes of this epic tale find strength in their differences and unity in their purpose.
