"Black People Can't End Racism Because They Didn't Create It" - Scared Youtuber (533 hits)

I observed the title of this blog as a comment on a YouTube video this week. Here is the link if you would like to analyze it yourself:

The video showcased a white man explaining systemic racism in an intriguing way. As you know from reading my blogs, I am seeking critiques of my proposal to end systemic racism. This guy piqued my interest. He demonstrated strong comprehension of counter-racist scholarship from 30 years ago. Nonetheless, I couldn't help but hone in on this particular comment. It had over 600 likes, indicating potential broad appeal of the underlying logic. I thought, "If Black people CAN"T end racism then...... are we supposed to wait on white folks to end it???" This spurred hypotheses and deductions. I wished to ask many more questions, like "Why can't we solve it?" Are we incompetent or just afraid? I refrained from questioning, instead reminding the author that victories like the Haitian Revolution prove we can defeat systemic racism. The author insisted fighting racism is illogical and that I failed to understand. This perspective clarifies why some disregard my proposal to end systemic racism. They are just terrified of the system.

Scholars analogize systemic racism to warfare against African Americans. Astoundingly, even some whites acknowledge the war against blacks while some blacks abdicate responsibility for fighting this war! Oh, the irony. Reflecting on the centuries of death and destruction caused by systemic racism, such defeatism seems cowardly. Those who expect whites to voluntarily cede power and end racism may need to re-examine this logic and/or seek counseling. The insurrection to retain Trump revealed violent white supremacist undercurrents. If they went to such lengths to keep him in office, what lengths might they go through to continue to stand on invisible pillars of superiority? In fact, one could say that the goal of the insurrection was for white men to retain power.

Any denial of racism or refusal to act likely puts one on the wrong side of history. The nation was built on slavery and genocide, sowing seeds for present turmoil. While some long to "make America great again," we must remember - we always reap what we sow. Those "great" years was the zenith of this country's success. It's been downhill from there. The average length of any empire to date is around 250 years and we'll be at that mark in 2026. The racism conversation ain't going anywhere. You can't run from it or hide under the bed to get away from it. Refusal to play results in forfeit or loss. It's play or be played. Who's side are you on?

Planetary Chess is offering the knowledge and skills needed to end systemic racism and is actively seeking strong and resilient minds to join the effort. If you know of any other plan to end systemic racism, please contact me @ janga.bussaja@gmail.com
