Open Proposal For Counter Racism Centers at HBCU's (1556 hits)
The Activist in Residence program recently caught my attention as a possible outlet for my project, Planetary Chess. As part of the worldwide effort at colleges to dismantle systematic racism, the newly created racism centers invite an activist on campus for a semester or so and further their research/project. I've never thought of myself to be an activist, only an independent thinker and philosopher but I've come to believe that Planetary Chess should be at some HBCU. I've recently been calling, emailing and even visiting a few of these racism centers at universities across the country but I can't seem to get any response in most cases. These initiatives commonly have the goal of "dismantling systematic racism" and so I believed that they would be relieved to receive a project in tune with their stated mission. To my dismay, my emails and calls were largely ignored when I presented such a project. And so my HBCU friends, I'll share this project proposal with you because someone besides me must find it totally unacceptable that black minds are not leaders in the research effort to end the system retarding our progress.
================================================================== Introduction (#PlanetaryChess) The death of George Floyd in May 2020 sparked renewed attention and activism around issues of racial justice and systematic racism. It prompted at least 4 Historically Black Colleges and universities (HBCUs) to establish new centers or initiatives centered on addressing racism. A myriad of other larger universities including Harvard, Boston University, Georgetown, UCLA and New York University previously had or created centers and/or antiracist research facilities dedicated to the fight against institutional racism in the wake of Mr. Floyd’s death. And as the research continues.. the trend of a black person being smoked by the police has shown no signs of fatigue either with Statista.com reporting that, “the rate of fatal police shootings among Black Americans was much higher than that for any other ethnicity, standing at 5.9 fatal shootings per million of the population per year between 2015 and January 2023.” The death of a black man by the police sparked initiatives to do something about racism however, black folks still get executed the most by police, by far. We must explore the option that there exists a disconnection between the efforts being done to research and eliminate systematic racism and the hearts and minds of white supremacists who have rarely been able to contain manic rages of inflicting death and destruction for the past 500 years. On one end of the disconnect, we must understand that changes to policy and partnerships with different agencies to create an antiracist society has ZERO effect on the heart and mind of a bonafide white supremacist, those who commit acts of terror that mandate change. The other end of that disconnection involves the utilization of independent Black scholarship focusing on racism white supremacy as a tool in replacing systematic racism with justice. Which begs the questions?
1. Shouldn’t the people victimized the most by racism have the truest assessment of what racism actually is? 2. How is the scholarship of today in the area of racism any different from the pseudoscientific theories used in the past to justify racism when it totally ignores Black Independent consideration?
The answers to these questions reveals critical information necessary to repair the disconnection between the research efforts needed to understand and dismantle systematic racism through COUNTER-RACISM also known as Planetary Chess.

Because in chess, the white side always moves first. So that means that they are playing offense-defense. And black has to play catch up, defense- offense. But that's ok because you can win from the black side of the board. IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE GAME.” - Dr. Francis Cress Welsing
Overview (#EducateTheBlackSide) Dr. Francis Cress Welsing was an American psychiatrist and author who is best known for her work on the psychology of racism and white supremacy. In 1991, she released a collection of essays entitled “The Isis Papers: The Keys to the Colors” in which this definition of racism was presented:
“The local and global power system structured and maintained by persons who classify themselves as white, whether consciously or subconsciously determined; this system consists of patterns of perception, logic symbol formation, thought, speech, action and emotional response, as conducted simultaneously in all areas of people activity (economics, entertainment, education, labor, law, politics, religion, s*x and war). The ultimate purpose of the system is to prevent white genetic annihilation on Earth - a planet in which the overwhelming majority of people are classified as non-white (black, brown, yellow, red) by white skinned people. All of the non-white people are genetically dominant (in terms of skin coloration) compared to the genetically recessive white- skinned people.”1
Dr. Welsing’s research on racism is so revered that it caused Regina Jennings (Ph.D), author of several books and articles in over 28 peer - reviewed journals to write an article entitled, “Dr. Frances Cress Welsing: A Genius Shunned by Black Academicians”. She has serious reservations about why HBCU’s aren’t leading the research efforts against systematic racism. We will take a look into her article in the conclusion. For now, her genius reference was necessary before presenting a similar theory, one held in the mind of what is often described as a “far right” white supremacist. The introduction for the Great Replacement Theory, (paraphrased from Wikipedia):
The Great Replacement (French: Grand Remplacement), also known as replacement theory or great replacement theory, is a white nationalist far-right conspiracy theory disseminated by French author Renaud Camus. The original theory states that, with the complicity or cooperation of "replacist" elites, white European populations are being demographically and culturally replaced with non-white peoples—especially from Muslim-majority countries—through mass migration, demographic growth and a drop in the birth rate of white Europeans. Since then, similar claims have been advanced in other national contexts, notably in the United States…….Camus and other conspiracy theorists attribute recent demographic changes in Europe to intentional policies advanced by global and liberal elites (the "replacists") from within the Government of France, the European Union, or the United Nations; they describe it as a "genocide by substitution”.……..scholars have argued that calls to violence are implicit in his depiction of non-white migrants as an existential threat to white populations. Several far-right terrorists, including the perpetrators of the 2019 Christchurch mosque shootings, the 2019 El Paso shooting and the 2022 Buffalo shooting, have made reference to the "Great Replacement" conspiracy theory.2
In the three shootings just mentioned, terrorists is synonymous with white supremacists but of greater importance is the complete agreement in motivation for acts of white supremacy: fear of genetic annihilation. This connection in ideology between Black Independent scholarship and White supremacist thought should serve as confirmation for research efforts towards COUNTER-RACISM. Counter-Racism is best exemplified through a system known as Planetary Chess. Counter Racism spawns primarily from the research of Mr. Neely Fuller Jr, Dr. Francis Cress Welsing and Dr. Amos Wilson, pioneers in the study of racism and systematic racism. Planetary Chess is comprised of an interdisciplinary focus of studies: history, war, art, social sciences & the game of chess. It aims to supply the knowledge to avoid the traps of systematic racism and render the system useless. The rules, tactics and strategies of the “Racism Game” have been analyzed, dissected and exposed by Master scholars and non white people only suffer now from a lack of knowledge.

It my highest honor to propose that the proper research needed to end systematic racism commence at HBCU's and spread to the world. Armed with Planetary Chess, we are uniquely positioned to be leaders in this research as mainstream academias continue to ignore the most comprehensive definition of racism and thus the most prolific research in the field.
Literature Review (#CounterRacismIsBetter) The Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University, which began a month following the death of Mr. Floyd, states this on its website:
“Our belief is that framing research on race and racism around antiracist questions leads to antiracist narratives, effective policy solutions, and impactful advocacy campaigns that cut to the root of racial inequality: racist policy.”
The concepts of Antiracism and Counter -Racism are similar but different. Similar in the goal of an antiracist society but differing in how to get there. As previously mentioned, Chess provides an excellent analogy in describing the racism problem. White moves first in attacking the Black King. The counter racist studies the game and the opponent and executes tactics and strategies to win. The anti racist seeks to change the way the game is played by attempting to change policy while simultaneously hoping to influence the opponent to forfeit power. In other words, the antiracist begs for mercy from a relentless opponent. Author John McWhorter, who teaches at Columbia University and writes for the New York Times has serious problems with the Antiracism movement as expressed in his book, “Woke Racism: How a New Religion Has Betrayed Black America.” When asked about the issues of systemic racism, McWhorter had this to say,
"The issue is, what do you do to battle them? And I say, telling people not to be racist or thinking of those inequities as some abstract version of bigotry doesn't help people who need help.”3
Here are the titles of a few best sellers in the Antiracist genre, “White Fragility”, “Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Racism” and “How to Be Antiracist”.These best selling books attest for the total disconnect in the racism conversation between white and non white peoples. They also reveal the goal of Antiracism: to educate whites about their inherent racism. Said differently, the tyranny of antiracism is that the victims of racism white supremacy are marginalized and left ignorant to continue falling for systematic pitfalls. Most of the racism or antiracism centers that have risen to popularity since Mr. Floyd’s death are doomed to fail because of the disconnections discussed in this proposal. Some have closed and others never even opened after being announced. What really sets Planetary Chess apart from any initiative to end systematic racism is that it seeks no help from the white side of the chess board. It is firmly rooted in the maximum development for the people who need help. This statement is posted on whitehouse.gov as part of the country’s fact sheet on its efforts to combat systematic racism:
“The prevalence, and pervasiveness, of racial discrimination might make the situation look hopeless, but we remain hopeful. Let us expose the racism and racial discrimination endemic to every society, around the globe. Let us press forward, to root out that discrimination and remove the rot from our foundations. And on this day dedicated to ending racial discrimination, let us leave our children a less hateful, more hopeful world.”3 — U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield4
While the government remains hopeful, the “prevalence and pervasiveness” demands a more proactive solution for the non white peoples of the world in defense of a thriving system. Planetary Chess fulfills that demand and provides a methodology utilizing the power of Blockchain Technology for constant research, development and implementation until systematic racism is replaced with justice for all people.
Research Designs and Methods Because Planetary Chess leverages the power of Blockchain Technology, part of the research design and methodology was built into a document known as a White-paper, pictured below is a roadmap that aids in the explanation of the The Formula just recently presented. Research done for the creation of Planetary Chess spans back to 2014 with both qualitative and quantitive data collected through the social media platforms of Youtube and Facebook. Although much of the research has been provided by the Master Scholars (Fuller, Welsing & Wilson), the social media outlets provided significant opportunity for original data collection. Case studies for the evidence of racism white supremacy was beyond plentiful during the term of Mr. Trump. Most news and media outlets were inundated with reports of racism. As such, the first stages of Planetary Chess included documentary films that captured events to be noted and studied. The first, to be subtitled, “How Systematic Racism Works.” At least one experiment was done after a small group of people ( Less than 50) were interviewed in what was known as “The Red Ink Test.” After a series of documentary films, the data collected was later compiled into, “Introduction to Planetary Chess” where The Formula for ending systematic racism was presented. The research must continue as Systematic racism continues to develop. In summary, Planetary Chess (Book) is comprised of an interdisciplinary focus of studies: history, social sciences, war, art & chess. It therefore supplies the knowledge to empower counter racists to eliminate said system and implements that knowledge through a methodology upon which strategy can be built upon until systematic racism is replaced with justice. By continuous study of systematic racism, we can render the system useless. To aid in studying the system, Tzuracializm was invented and represents any art form where the meaning within the art always traces back to two themes towards one plot : Know Thy Enemy + Know Thy Self = End of Systematic Racism Members of the Planetary Chess community are rewarded for their active participation in maintaining this continuous study and breakdown of systematic racism and/or creating works of Tzuracializm or participation in the meta verse games. This is done through the power of Blockchain Technology and a Dao. A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is an entity with no central leadership. Decisions get made from the bottom-up, governed by a community organized around a specific set of rules enforced on a blockchain. This mechanism allows the process to repeat itself with a new volume of Planetary Chess. This system was launched with the creation of Introduction to Planetary Chess, available on Amazon Kindle. The goal is for non whites to continuously understand and analyze the racism game in order to perform a type of racial jujitsu where avoiding the snares of systematic racism, accelerates its demise.
Contribution to Knowledge Dr. Welsing coined the term “Planetary Chess” in “The Isis Papers”. Once a significant number of people really understand how the game is played and won, a leaderless revolution begins. Systematic racism will only end when the victims understand it. I only stand on the shoulders on giants like Dr. Welsing, Mr. Fuller and Dr. Wilson to put their work in a modern medium (Blockchain Technology) for it to be utilized. For none of this would exist without the brilliant work they left behind. As mentioned earlier, I’m not the only person who thinks Dr. Welsing was a genius, Regina Jennings in an article she entitled, “Dr. Frances Cress Welsing: A Genius Shunned by Black Academicians” detailed her brilliance in the field of counter racist strategy. Being both a HBCU alumni and a Black independent thinker, I’m at odds with how she ended this article but I would like to see Counter Racism spread to ALL colleges and universities.
“Historical Black institutions of higher learning ought to take an internal review of why they exist because currently there are more brilliantly Black independent minds on the internet than those being produced by HBCUs. There are more Black Nationalist intellects on the internet that dedicate their expertise to assist our knowledge and economic expansion in order to destroy our dependency on White America. With that said, the function of HBCUs is rather questionable because Howard University shunned our Sister Genius: Dr. Frances Cress Welsing.”5
Ignoring the scholarship of Dr. Welsing suggests that the hardest hit victims of racism white supremacy have no say in what it actually is even with the right credentials and proper research! This is the epitome of racist thought. My birth name is Jason Breckenridge. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Janga Bussaja, my pseudonym, is a Black independent intellect on the internet. My research spans over 10 years. All of it can be verified through my platform as a Philosopher (check the hashtags on Facebook and twitter). I have been to over 35 states in this time and have keenly noticed the condition of African Americans all over the country and I can attest that in every major city in this country, Black folks are still at the bottom of the social order. The most homeless people in the streets, are black people. As part of my Philosophy platform, I make a habit of asking just about everyone I meet, “Why do you think racism exists?” I do not have the exact data from this survey but I can assure you that 95% of the people I ask cannot provide a proficient answer black or white. That is the current state of affairs in the fight against systematic racism. Dr. Welsing’s research spans over 40 years and it is the key to replacing systematic racism with justice. All of the racism centers in the world are doomed to failure without her counsel.

In the face of 400+ years of a ruthless system that still executes or incapacitates black men whenever the time presents itself, the most brilliant minds study and understand this system so well that we bring it to its knees with no violence at all. That’s the essence of Planetary Chess! What a fun game to play! What better place for that type of superior thinking and excellency to be born and demonstrated and perfected than at an HBCU. Join me in continuing research for the tackling the greatest social initiative ever where we take on the responsibility of overcoming an old and deteriorating system and become a beacon for educating the victims of systematic racism.
