Check out this video from Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, North Carolina! Rosenwald schools were built by African American communities that received technical and financial assistance from Julius Rosenwald, whose contribution in turn leveraged support from local school boards. In celebration of Black History Month, ECSU reflects on the impact and rich legacy our very own Rosenwald School has made over the last 100 years.
