Driving into the Future: Autonomy at A&T (1674 hits)
Check out this video from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina! We are proud to unveil our new self-driving shuttles on its own rural test track for autonomous vehicles. A&T is a national leader in the creation and of autonomous vehicles. A&T also is the only HBCU and university in the South to have such an innovation. Its three-mile track at Gateway Research Park has various segments that represent rural terrains as well as other features such as narrow lanes, steep hills, tight curves, canopy roads, bus stops, bike lanes, pedestrian crossings and more.
This is an exciting next chapter as we unveil a fleet of autonomous shuttles that will transport students, faculty, staff and guests around the A&T campus and beyond, starting this year.
