JAMES WOODSON OBITUARY
James Lee Woodson, age 27, passed on Sunday, Sept.18, 2022. Born on April 5, 1995 in Rowan County and was the son of Tyson Burrell Sifford and Cassandra Woodson. He was raised by his grandmother, Kathleen Chambers. James attended the Salisbury-Rowan County schools and graduated from North Rowan High School and attended Piedmont Community College. He was last employed at Chewy in Salisbury. Left to cherish his memory include his father, Tyson Burrell Sifford of Concord; mother Cassandra Woodson of Salisbury; grandmother, Kathleen Chambers of Spencer; brothers and sisters, Alexis Woodson, Makayla Woodson, Jaylen Salters, Alyssia Salters, Thomas Hickey, Teasia Hickey and Temerijuan Hickey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Arrangements: Services will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, at Varick Auditorium on the campus of Livingstone College with the visitation at 11 a.m. and funeral at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park. Bishop David Chambers, Pastor of New Smith Chapel Pentecostal Church, Officiating. Memorials: In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations to be made to Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home, Inc., 223 E. Fisher St, Salisbury, NC 28144. Mask are required during the services. Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the Family. Online condolences may be sent to nobleandkelsey.com.
