Check out this video from Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland! The History Program is pleased to announce that Dr. Lopez D. Matthews, State Archivist and Public Records Administrator for the District of Columbia, Executive Office of the Mayor will deliver the keynote address during the Fourteenth Annual Chester W. Gregory Sr. Colloquium to be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 1:00pm, directly following the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society Induction.
The Annual Chester W. Gregory, Sr. Colloquium was formally launched in April 2007, as an initiative that recognizes the scholarly research and commitment to academic excellence of Dr. Chester W. Gregory Sr., who ably served Coppin State University for many years. The Colloquium also recognizes Dr. Gregory’s generosity in having established an endowment to promote scholarly historical studies and activities for History majors. We extend a warm invitation for faculty, students, and the Coppin Community to join us for this important Colloquium.
