Mend a City: The Movement (1883 hits)

Check out this video from Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina!
We're SO excited to host Mend-A-City: The Movement put on by the Amplify Black Voices Festival!

This poetic performance art piece will take you on a journey of the African American experience, with empowerment and solutions to change the state of Black America thread throughout.

The cleverly titled play was penned with purpose…

To actively awaken the masses and eradicate the mendacity (aka untruthfulness) that plagues our nation and stagnates our human rights.

Directed by Vanecia Boone. Written by Vanecia Boone, Tabia Mawusi, and Philip J. Lightfoot, this masterpiece will catapult you into an eclectic world of conscious spoken word and revolutionary thought.
