Congratulations to the 2021-22 Mister and Miss Albany State University (23075 hits)


Albany State University is excited to officially present our 9th and 79th Mister and Miss Albany State University! Congratulations Cregory Nance and Briana Adams. The royal coronation was held October 3, 2021.

79th Miss Albany State University, Briana Adams

Briana Adams is a senior early childhood education major from Detroit, Michigan by way of Hampton, Georgia.

Her campus involvement includes participating in Active Minds Support Group, Paraprofessional Promoting Progression (P3), Pre-Alumni Council, and the Gamma Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She also served as the former Student Government Association Equity and Inclusion Senator.

Her future plans are to become a noteworthy second-grade educator in the world that will transform the standards of education while also advocating and mentoring women worldwide who have lost their mothers.


9th Mister Albany State University, Cregory Nance

Cregory Nance is a senior biology major from Cordele, Georgia.

His campus involvement includes participating in the the Minority Association of Pre-Med Students (MAPS) and MALES Mentors. He also served as Mister MAPS for the 2020-2021 academic school year. Cregory actively engages on campus by assisting with voter registration initiatives and volunteering during campus wellness days.

His future plans include attending Meharry Medical College or the University of Florida to pursue a career as an oral surgeon.
