PROFESSION: Author First African American Presidential Speechwriter.
Terry Edmonds is sort of like the wizard of Oz, behind the scenes making it happen. As a speechwriter for Bill Clinton, Edmonds joined Clinton’s staff in 1995 and worked his way up to director of speechwriting. When Clinton's reign came to an end in 2001, he thought he’d closed the book on politics, but he was lured back to help Kerry with his campaign in 2004. Recently, Edmonds landed a job at Time Warner and made a move to New York.
